Worked on improving localization quality in the omegat-org/omegat repository by addressing a specific mistranslation in the user interface. Focused on correcting the Japanese translation of the license type from 'サイセンス' to the standard 'ライセンス', ensuring accurate and consistent terminology across all locales. Utilized Java and localization best practices to validate the fix and prevent UI regressions, supporting internationalization efforts. This targeted bug fix reduced potential user confusion and compliance risks by aligning displayed license terms with industry standards. The work demonstrated attention to detail in language accuracy and contributed a clear, traceable update to the project’s codebase.
