Worked on the mattermost/desktop repository to deliver full Spanish localization for the Mattermost Desktop application, focusing on internationalization and localization using JSON and the Weblate translation platform. The primary contribution involved finalizing 317 Spanish-language strings, enabling a complete Spanish user interface for desktop users and improving accessibility for Spanish-speaking audiences. The workflow was streamlined by adopting a Weblate-based process, with all translation changes documented in two commits. No high-severity bugs were addressed during this period, as the work centered on feature delivery and process improvement rather than bug fixing, reflecting a focused and methodical approach to localization engineering.
