During November 2024, Fettestier developed a user-configurable seek forward length feature for the jellyfin/jellyfin-androidtv repository, enhancing playback customization on Android TV. By integrating a new preference setting into the UI, Fettestier enabled users to adjust the video player's skip forward interval, addressing varied viewing habits and improving overall playback control. The implementation leveraged Android development skills, particularly in preference management and UI/UX development, using both Java and Kotlin. While no bugs were fixed during this period, the work demonstrated a focused approach to feature delivery, resulting in a more flexible and user-friendly video playback experience for end users.
