Worked on enhancing the security of the CCMv2 configuration workflow in the hortonworks/cloudbreak-images repository by delivering a feature that improves credential management and log safety. Refactored the Shell script responsible for configuration generation to centralize access key information in a single file, streamlining credential handling and increasing traceability. Applied security-focused shell scripting techniques to tighten argument handling, ensuring sensitive credentials are not exposed in operational logs. Implemented log sanitization for user-data logs, reducing the risk of secret leakage during cluster provisioning. This work strengthened the overall security posture and audit readiness of the CCMv2 deployment pipeline through system administration best practices.
