In June 2025, Hassan contributed Arabic localization to the jellyfin/jellyfin repository, enhancing accessibility for Arabic-speaking users within the core UI. He utilized JSON for translation strings and leveraged the Weblate platform to manage and integrate the new language support efficiently. His work focused on internationalization and open source collaboration, streamlining the translation workflow for future updates. By adding comprehensive Arabic translations, Hassan addressed onboarding challenges for non-English users and expanded Jellyfin’s potential user base. Although he did not address bug fixes during this period, his targeted feature work demonstrated depth in localization and effective use of collaborative translation technologies.
