Worked on user-facing improvements for Approval Requests Origination in the zendesk/copenhagen_theme repository, focusing on enhancing clarity and maintainability in the UI. Delivered a feature that displays 'Action flow' as the sender for action-flow-originated requests and ensures the creator’s name appears for other origination types, improving provenance visibility for end users and reviewers. Refactored the codebase by extracting origination type handling into a constant, reducing ambiguity and simplifying future updates. Utilized React for front end development, with JavaScript and TypeScript to implement and test these changes, resulting in a clearer, more consistent approval request experience without introducing new bugs.
