Kári Vík worked on enhancing localization in the jellyfin/jellyfin repository by updating Faroese translations within the jellyfin-core component. Using XML and the Weblate localization workflow, Kári managed translation updates that improved accessibility and user experience for Faroese-speaking users. The work focused on internationalization, ensuring that non-English speakers could better navigate and use the platform. All changes were tracked through Git, maintaining clear traceability and supporting collaborative development. While the scope was limited to a single feature over one month, the contribution demonstrated effective use of translation management tools and reinforced the project’s commitment to broader language support and inclusivity.
