Worked on the intercom/intercom-react-native repository to upgrade the Android Intercom SDK from version 15.14+ to 15.16+, ensuring the React Native library remained compatible with the latest platform requirements. Focused on release management and mobile development, the process involved updating Gradle build configurations and aligning dependencies to improve stability and security. The upgrade was validated through clean builds and smoke testing, confirming no regressions in the React Native bridge or app integration. This work shipped as part of Release 8.5.0, reflecting a methodical approach to platform maintenance and dependency management within a collaborative mobile development environment.
