Worked on the pegasystems/pega-helm-charts repository to enable dynamic DNS support for Hazelcast clustering, introducing a SERVICE_DNS environment variable that configures the cluster DNS name based on the release namespace. This approach improved multi-environment compatibility and client connectivity, particularly for users operating with non-default DNS domains. The implementation involved updating Helm charts and extending Terratest coverage to validate the new configuration, ensuring reliability in continuous integration workflows. Leveraged skills in DevOps, Go, and Kubernetes, with changes delivered in Go and YAML. The work focused on robust testing and cross-environment support, addressing both feature requirements and a reported DNS-related bug.
