During December 2025, Mokhtar Garmeh focused on expanding the accessibility of the persian-calendar/persian-calendar repository by implementing near-complete Spanish localization for the Persian Calendar Android app. Mokhtar translated 381 out of 398 user interface strings, updating the core strings.xml resource to reflect Spanish text throughout the application. Leveraging XML for resource management and integrating Weblate, Mokhtar streamlined the localization workflow to support scalable translation efforts. This work addressed internationalization requirements, enabling Spanish-speaking users to navigate the app more effectively. The project demonstrated depth in Android development and localization, though the scope was limited to a single feature without bug fixes.
