This change preserves U-Boot-set defaults on AST2700 platforms and relies on device installer.conf for bootconf when present. The update included removing the hardcoded bootconf default from platform/aspeed/platform_arm64.conf and guarding fw_setenv bootconf with a non-empty check. Resulting improvement: more reliable boot behavior, reduced risk of boot-time regressions, and alignment with installer-driven provisioning. Key commit: f6aebc2669e43b6cf6fc959cf76b639cd24103bd. Testing: Nexthop platform validated; full CI buildimage matrix green. Approvals by platform owners (Chander-Nexthop, Judy/Joseph, Shreyansh-Nexthop).
