Nikole Dolphin developed and integrated a new Tex Jump Animation feature for the Rabies project, focusing on enhancing player onboarding and interactivity by enabling jump functionality directly from the main menu. Working within the gregory-code/Rabies repository, Nikole utilized Unreal Engine’s asset workflow and UI integration to add and wire the RAB_Tex_jump.uasset, updating RabiesMainMenu.umap to support the new capability. The implementation required careful game-state coupling and clean version control practices, ensuring maintainable asset references for future development. While no bugs were fixed during this period, the work established a solid foundation for further animation-driven features using Blueprint and C++.
