Worked on the google/perfetto repository to deliver an enhancement to display management by adding a screen brightness unit parameter to WindowLayoutParamsProto. This feature enables more flexible configuration and supports accurate layout analysis across various devices and power profiles. The implementation involved extending protocol buffers to define the new parameter and integrating it within the Android development workflow. System design principles were applied to ensure the change was robust and maintainable. No major bugs were reported during this period, and ongoing efforts focused on improving parameterization and documentation to support future development and facilitate broader adoption of the new configuration capability.
