Worked on the apache/nifi repository to enhance documentation reliability by addressing a frontend rendering issue in controller services. Focused on HTML-based frontend development, the solution involved updating the rendering logic so the Tags section appears only when tags exist for a configurable extension definition. This targeted bug fix prevented rendering errors and improved the accuracy of public documentation, supporting better user configuration workflows. The change was implemented and validated in a single commit, with clear traceability through a referenced pull request. This work contributed to reduced user confusion and lower support overhead, strengthening confidence in NiFi’s documentation quality and usability.
