Worked on the apache/nifi repository to enhance the ExecuteStreamCommand processor’s cross-platform reliability, specifically targeting Windows environments. Developed and delivered Windows quote-aware argument handling, enabling the processor to correctly interpret quoted arguments in dynamic properties and reducing runtime errors. The technical approach involved implementing changes under the NIFI-15413 initiative and validating them through comprehensive unit testing on Windows systems. Utilized Java and software development best practices to ensure robust handling of dynamic properties, improving compatibility and stability. The contribution was recorded with a traceable commit, supporting reproducible review and ongoing maintenance of argument parsing functionality within the project.
