Contributed to the obophenotype/uberon repository by enhancing the UBERON ontology through the addition of a new term definition for the 'secondary visual cortex.' This work involved ontology development using OBO, focusing on providing a detailed function description and incorporating literature citations to ensure accuracy and traceability. The update improved the ontology’s completeness and referenceability, supporting better data interoperability for downstream anatomy mapping and analytics. All changes were precisely documented in a single commit, maintaining clear version control. The approach demonstrated attention to detail in ontology structuring and emphasized the importance of well-sourced, interoperable anatomical data within the OBO framework.
