During February 2025, Tzks enhanced the obophenotype/uberon repository by developing a new ontology feature focused on anatomical data integration. They added a detailed term definition for the 'secondary visual cortex,' including a comprehensive function description and literature citations to improve the ontology’s completeness and referenceability. Working with OBO and applying ontology development skills, Tzks ensured the new term was precisely documented and traceable within the repository. This addition addressed gaps in anatomical mappings, supporting better interoperability for downstream analytics. The work demonstrated depth in both technical execution and domain knowledge, contributing to more robust and interoperable biomedical data resources.
