During March 2025, Stéphane Laurière enhanced the xwiki/xwiki-platform repository by implementing French localization for the Forgot Username email workflow. He introduced a French XWiki.Mail object and integrated it with the ForgotUsernameMailContent page, enabling the system to send username reminder emails in French to French-speaking users. This work focused on improving internationalization and user communication, aligning with broader localization strategies. Stéphane utilized Groovy and Java to develop and wire the new content, ensuring seamless language support within the platform. The feature addressed the need for multilingual user support, though the scope was limited to a single feature without bug fixes.
