Worked on the xwiki/xwiki-platform repository to enhance localization by implementing French language support for the Forgot Username email feature. This involved creating a French XWiki.Mail object and integrating it with the ForgotUsernameMailContent page, enabling the system to send username reminder emails in French to users who prefer that language. The approach focused on improving internationalization and user communication, reducing friction for non-English-speaking users. Utilized Groovy and Java to develop and wire the new localization components, demonstrating skills in both backend development and localization strategy. The work addressed a specific feature request and aligned with broader internationalization goals.
