Worked on the aiven/aiven-client repository to deliver a focused codebase cleanup by removing the deprecated Support Ticket API and all associated files. This effort targeted the reduction of technical debt and eliminated the risk of future reliance on outdated interfaces, streamlining ongoing maintenance for the project. The work was implemented through a dedicated merge request, ensuring that legacy API endpoints and related code were fully excised. Leveraged Python and backend development skills, with an emphasis on API development best practices, to ensure the codebase remains maintainable and aligned with current standards. No bug fixes were recorded during this period.
