Taher Azizi contributed to the persian-calendar/persian-calendar repository by expanding localization support, focusing on Kurdish (Central) language integration for the Android app. Using XML and Weblate, Taher delivered a comprehensive translation of nearly all user-facing strings, reaching over 95% coverage. This work enhanced the app’s accessibility for Kurdish-speaking users, supporting internationalization and broadening market reach. The technical approach involved managing translation workflows and documentation through Weblate, ensuring quality and traceability. While the contribution was limited to a single feature over one month, the depth of the translation work demonstrated strong skills in Android development, localization, and internationalization practices.
