Worked on stabilizing the FreeIPA image build process in the hortonworks/cloudbreak-images repository by upgrading the Jumpgate agent from version 3.8.0 to 3.9.0. This update was applied to both the Makefile and Dockerfile for Red Hat 8, ensuring consistency across build layers and configurations. The approach focused on build system management and image building, leveraging Makefile scripting to automate the integration of the new agent version. These changes improved security, compatibility, and reliability for downstream deployments. The work demonstrated attention to traceability and reproducibility, with all modifications clearly referenced and documented within the repository’s version control system.
