Contributed to the metabrainz/picard repository by advancing Japanese localization for the Picard user interface, achieving translation coverage of 44.3 percent through collaborative work with other translators. Leveraged Python and Weblate to update UI elements and error messages, ensuring that Japanese-speaking users could access a more localized experience. Established a reproducible workflow for ongoing translation efforts, laying the foundation for future localization improvements. The work focused on enhancing accessibility and usability for non-English users, with careful attention to translation accuracy and integration into the existing codebase. No major bug fixes were reported during this period, with efforts centered on feature delivery.
