Worked on the GCU-CLD/gcu-cld-24-25-mala-vida repository, focusing on maintaining and stabilizing the MalaVida project. Addressed a critical compatibility issue by updating the project to Unreal Engine 5.3, ensuring alignment with the intended engine version and reducing build and test risks. The update involved precise project file management, specifically modifying the MalaVida.uproject file with a minimal-diff approach to limit disruption. Leveraged Unreal Engine and JSON skills, along with Git for traceability and controlled deployment. This work improved project stability, provided predictable QA outcomes, and established a reliable foundation for future feature development without introducing new user-facing features.
