Worked on the google/perfetto repository to enhance proto definition reuse by introducing Bazel rules for the winscope proto and expanding the visibility of the trace_processor proto. This approach enabled build rules to access proto definitions outside the perfetto directory, facilitating cross-repository integration and reducing duplication for dependent projects. Focused on improving modularity and accelerating the setup process for teams leveraging shared protobuf assets. The work involved close collaboration on Bazel build systems and ProtoBuf schema management, with all changes implemented using Bazel and Python. These improvements aligned with broader cross-team goals for maintainable and reusable build infrastructure.
