During March 2025, Pitibalrog contributed to the jellyfin/jellyfin-androidtv repository by delivering a comprehensive French localization update for the Android and Android TV applications. Using XML and the Weblate platform, Pitibalrog achieved full translation coverage of all user-facing strings, ensuring consistency and parity with other supported locales. This work focused on internationalization and localization, directly improving accessibility and the user experience for French-speaking audiences. The update aligned with Jellyfin’s broader i18n strategy, removing language barriers within the app ecosystem. While the contribution was limited to a single feature, it demonstrated depth in language support and attention to translation workflow quality.
