
Worked on the CLAWS-UMICH/AURA repository to deliver a comprehensive overhaul of the suit vitals system, focusing on both backend data architecture and user interface improvements. Refactored the Vitals and VitalsData models in C# to decouple data flow from the Astronaut component, simplifying maintenance and enhancing testability. Developed a vitals data simulator to support robust testing and scenario replay, while also enhancing helmet pressure visualization through new materials, ShaderLab shaders, and SHP scripts in Unity. These changes resulted in cleaner data structures, more realistic operator displays, and a UI that supports faster iteration and clearer feedback for simulation scenarios.
