
Over three months, contributed to the CLAWS-UMICH/AURA repository by building core AR navigation and UI systems using Unity, C#, and A* pathfinding algorithms. Developed a grid-based pathfinding solution integrated with the navigation controller, enabling real-time route visualization and minimap rendering for AR experiences. Enhanced the user interface by configuring Unity UI components for intuitive navigation and onboarding, and optimized shader compilation for improved runtime performance. Addressed codebase maintainability by resolving merge conflicts and removing obsolete scripts. The work established a scalable foundation for AR navigation, route optimization, and UI-driven customization, emphasizing technical depth and disciplined version control practices.
